REAM HMI Coiled Tubing

The REAM HMI is a user-friendly data acquisition system that reads data from electronic sensors and displays the data on a TFT touch screen, which acts as both an input and an output device. The system records the data on solid-state Compact Flash memory and allows remote monitoring of the data. Two screen size options are available, 7” and 9”.

REAM HMI Well Testing

Emergency Warning Stop Module (EWSM)

EWSM is a combined alarm and control system used to alert coiled tubing operators and to control the injector in case of imminent danger, thus preventing accidents.

Emergency Pump Stop System (EPSS)

EPSS is a combined alarm and control system used to alert pump operators and to control the pump in case of imminent danger, thus preventing accidents.

Tube Accurate Depth System (TAD)

MEDCO’s TAD system is designed to help accurately measure Coiled Tubing Depth using two separate wheel encoders or a twin wheel assembly rigged on the unit. Our proprietary processor technology offers highly accurate measurement and detection of any slippage. This eliminates inaccurate readings which occur often using conventional counters during reel-to-reel spooling or during operations at the well site.

Tubing Ovality Monitor (TOM)

TOM is a fast and accurate laser diameter-measuring tool. System features include:

  • Standard diameter range from 1” to 2”.
  • By replacing the rollers, pipe diameters can be as small as 0.01” and as large as 2”.
  • Very high scan rate (measuring frequency).
  • Highly precise measurements.
  • Resolution 0.1 µm (0.000005”).
  • Transmits data in ASCII format over a serial link (RS232).
  • Requires a data acquisition system such as REAM HMI for reading and recording data.
  • High dirt and dust tolerance.
  • Compact dimensions.
